About Laura

 I was born on the central coast of California and grew up in Atascadero.  

My career began when I attended massage school at Hirudaya Holistic Life Center in San Luis Obispo during my senior year of high school. I worked as a massage practitioner in San Luis Obispo County and later in San Francisco while attending San Francisco State University. I graduated with a BS in Kinesiology, the study of Human Movement, in 2010. My path led me to the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California, where I completed a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2015. 

Immediately after graduation, I relocated overseas to Switzerland, living in the countryside near Zurich for the next seven years. Licensed in Switzerland, I practiced all Chinese medicine forms, including acupuncture, tuina, nutritional counseling and herbal medicine. I returned to the United States in February 2022, becoming licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board in January 2023.

In my practice I treat everyone and everything that has come my way. There is no dis-ease presentation that I am not willing to dive into. I am dedicated to learning and giving my all to find solutions. Health concerns people have come to me with include: digestive and menstrual disorders, musculoskeletal and nervous system injury and dysfunction, depression and anxiety, cancer, headaches/migraines, men's and women's health, as well as infertility and pre-natal issues. I work with patients to meet their long- and short-term health goals.
